Paneer Tikka Recipe Restaurant Style at Home
🫙Ingredients:
For Marinade:
200-250 grams paneer (cubed)
1/2 cup thick curd (hung curd or Greek yogurt)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder (adjust to taste)
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
Salt to taste
1 tbsp mustard oil (for extra flavor, optional)
For Veggies (optional but recommended):
1/2 capsicum (cut into cubes)
1/2 onion (cut into layers)
1 tomato (deseeded and cubed)
🥘Instructions:
1. Prepare the Marinade:
In a large bowl, mix curd, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and mustard oil. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
2. Marinate Paneer & Veggies:
Add paneer cubes and chopped veggies to the marinade. Coat everything evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (1–2 hours preferred).
3. Grill or Cook:
Oven method: Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Place marinated paneer and veggies on skewers. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until edges are slightly charred.
Tawa method: Heat a non-stick pan with a little oil. Place the marinated paneer and veggies. Cook on medium flame till golden and slightly crisp from all sides.
4. Serving:
Sprinkle chaat masala, lemon juice, and serve hot with green chutney and onion rings.
Notes:
You can use skewers or simply place pieces on a baking tray or tawa.
Adjust spice levels to taste.
