Mooli Paratha Recipe
🫙Ingredients:
For the Dough:
Whole wheat flour – 2 cups
Salt – ½ teaspoon
Water – for kneading
Oil – 1 teaspoon (for binding)
🥘For the Stuffing:
Grated radish – 1½ cups
Green chili – 1 (finely chopped)
Ginger – 1 teaspoon (grated)
Fresh coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons (chopped)
Carom seeds (Ajwain) – ½ teaspoon
Salt – to taste
Red chili powder – ¼ teaspoon
Dry mango powder (Amchur) – ½ teaspoon
🥘Method:🥘
1. Kneading the Dough:
Take whole wheat flour in a mixing bowl. Add salt and oil. Mix and gradually add water to knead into a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
2. Preparing the Stuffing:
Grate the radish and mix it with a little salt. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
Then squeeze out the excess water from the radish.
Add green chili, ginger, coriander, carom seeds, red chili powder, and dry mango powder. Mix well.
3. Making the Paratha:
Make dough balls and roll out a small circle. Place some radish filling in the center.
Seal the edges and gently roll it out again.
Cook on a hot tawa (griddle), apply
ing oil or ghee on both sides until golden brown.
