Gourd Paratha Recipe: A Delicious Way to Enjoy Vegetables

Ingredients

1 cup grated pumpkin (or any gourd)

2 cups wheat flour

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 teaspoon red chili powder

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

2 teaspoons chopped fresh coriander leaves

Salt to taste

Oil for cooking


Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, combine grated gourd and finely chopped onion.


2. Add red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds, chopped coriander leaves, and salt. Mix well.


3. Add this mixture to the wheat flour and knead into a soft dough.


4. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each out into a flat circle using a rolling pin.


5. Heat a pan, apply some oil, and cook each paratha on both sides until golden brown and cooked through.


6. Serve hot with yogurt, raita, or chutney of your choice.
